I hope that you are enjoying our website. My name is Bill Schreur. My wife Brenda and I are the proud owners of River Edge Bed and Breakfast and Gathering Place. I was born and raised here in Vergennes Township, and married my wife Brenda in 1989. We have been blessed with 4 children. 

    We are really excited about our new Bed and Breakfast. We both love meeting people and making new friends. This type of service and creating a quality product for our customers is nothing new for us. I have been serving the Lowell area as a homebuilder and remodeler for over 30 years. During this time our focus has been delivery of a quality product to our customers, and second to none service to back it up.     Brenda is a natural fit to our new venture. She has a business management degree from Davenport College. She has also owned and operated her own floral business for several years prior to raising a family. The main focus of her business was floral design for weddings,  and has had several years of experience working with brides. This has carried over nicely with our new wedding venue.   Being a great family cook, she has been a valuable asset to our bed and breakfast.  All of our guests have enjoyed her traditional family recipes, with many leaving written comments.
